Our nation is under attack once again, the first major threat we have faced since the Japanese
bombed Pearl Harbor. It was sudden, visible and heart wrenching for the families who saw
their sons lost at a time we were a nation at peace.
The United States is still the one nation people want to emigrate to.
It remains the beacon it has been for over two hundred years.
But, the reason people have been yearning to come is not what it was.
They still came to the nation who streets were "paved with gold", but
now come with the expectation of entitlement.
But, this threat is measurably worse and much harder to defeat. It is stealth like and multifaceted,
and most Americans have no idea the damage it is inflicting on our nation.
Our military is stretched as much as it was during World War II. We do not have as many in
combat but the risks are even greater as the threat comes from surrogates of nations which
supply the technology and arms to wage war to disrupt whatever stability there is.
Additionally, despotic nations commit human rights violations including genocide despite and
only one nation consistently comes to the people's aid.
threaten world stability by suppressing any degree of freedom
among their own citizens and their neighbors.
Externally, powerful nations through surrogates are raising havoc throughout the world knowing
only the United States will take to lead to defend nations under threat, which will be costly, in
money we do not have, and young lives we reluctantly commit.
We are also under siege from many nations who continue to demand we provide for their needs
blunder OUR treasury to bolster
up THEIR treasuries
of other nations, internal undermining by a political elements and citizens who seek to weaken the
nation to advance their own self-serving ambitions.
No nation has achieved so much in as short of time as the United State has.
In less than three hundred years we have become the world leader in science,
agriculture, technology, defense, and commerce.
Our nation has been the envy of the world and has voluntarily taken responsibility
for maintaing peace
